About me |
|
I grew up in Guilderland, NY, a suburb of Albany. I attended Guilderland High School, where I played three years of varsity lacrosse and graduated in June 2004. I then moved on in pursuit of my undergraduate degree at the University of Virginia (to where my loyalty remains). At Virginia I was a member of the Alpha Chapter of the Chi Phi Fraternity, President of the Club Lacrosse Team, and competed some for the Sailing Team. I graduated in May 2008 with a minor in Economics. As hard as it was to leave Charlottesville, VA, I ventured back north to continue my studies at Cornell University as a PhD candidate in Structural Engineering under Professor Anthony Ingraffea.

I love to do anything active, whether it is sailing, golf, tennis, slow pitch softball, etc. Just being outdoors is always a bonus. I love spending time with friends and family, visiting the countryside, the Adirondacks and the beach.
