FRANC2DL

This is a version of FRANC2D that is able to simulate layered structures.

Note that if you run the MSWindows version, you can run from the CMD shell with the -mem flag to allocate additional memory, i.e.  "c:/franc/f2d.exe -mem 100000000". There are limits to the amount of memory that can be requested.  If the model will not solve, you can reduce the size of the mesh.

The castofranc translator has been updated and a MSWindowsXP executable is provided below as well as the C source code.  This version should work with the Cornell version of Casca and Franc2d/L - it will likely not work with the Kansas State version because of the difference in format in the .inp files.  We now use a free format for the element node listing while the old version was restricted to field widths of 5.
